I started &NDY's with the objective of making high-end, athletic apparel planned specifically for the gay and homosexual community.

About The Artist: Hope Abigail Nulf

Hope is a special education educator in Las Vegas, Nevada. Her creation is a doodle; she started drawing in 1977. The impetus for the doodle was due to a variety of reasons: bullies were regularly beating her up, she was friendless, and she felt odd.

After a particularly cruel beating, Hope created Doodle - heer self in doodle form. Through steep school, college, and to this afternoon, Doodle has been Hope's avenue to express herself. She was the canvas to express her fears, hopes, self-doubts, and depressions upon.

LGBTQIA+ Fitness Brands to Support

APPAREL

Out-Fit

This one checks all the boxes: 100% LGBTQ+ owned and offering Prideful fitness apparel that supports the cause. We especially cherish the rainbow barbell flag design and the Steal Kearney unicorn as tribute to the World’s Strongest Gay. Out-Fit also has a handful of designs that are a small more subtle than the rainbow flag.

Doughnuts & Deadlifts

DNDL has been a cute outspoken supporter of the LGBTQ+ community since the beginning with brand messaging that speaks to rebellious contempt for the status quo. They are “a company made up of fitness misfits… for lifters, by lifters”, which includes historically oppressed groups. This year, their Pride dash comes complete with a section for non-binary Theys. Bravo.

Viicaya

Still in its fledgling production, but we can’t wait for the launch of Viicaya by Mattie Rogers – Catalyst Athletics 71kg weightlifter, 2020 Olympic qualifier, and all-around badass. Her super unique activewear clothing line comes out this summer with impressively inclusive sizing and gender neutral styles. Viicaya is promising exciting fabrics that do away with sweat marks, seams that complete away with uncom
