Calgary Outlink is a community-based, not-for-profit help dedicated to providing sustain , education, outreach, and referrals for the 2SLGBTQIA+ and allied communities in Calgary, Alberta.
Empowerment is at the core of our function and we strive to provide opportunities for governance, education and personal maturation to our service users, volunteers and community members at large.

The numbers are alarming – 73% of LGBTQ youth struggle with anxiety symptoms. Even more concerning, 45% of them had grave thoughts about suicide last year. These stark realities demonstrate why LGBTQ therapy plays such a crucial role in supporting the community’s mental health.
LGBTQ individuals need mental health treatment more often than others, especially when you hold discrimination, bullying, or feelings of isolation. But the access remains limited – 60% of LGBTQ youth couldn’t receive the mental health care they needed. We offer peer support groups, supports to settle, and support for refugee hearings in the Calgary area. The Welcoming Spaces Venture is based on peer support provided by LGBTQ+ people given to Gay people to urge positive mental health and well creature oriented toward enhancing socio-economic conditions for all. We execute this by encouraging everyone in the general public, fresh and long-time Canadians, to live good together in all of the services that we provide.
We are located at CommunityWise Resource Centre, Room 211, 223 12 Avenue S.W. and can be reached by mobile at (403) 262-4068.
Support Groups for Queer People
The first Sunday and third Friday of every month.
TransJourneys is a drop-in group that provides peer support, learning, and resources for the transgender group in and around Calgary. This community is open to all who are transgender, including those who are genderfluid, intersex, or questioning their gender individuality. We welcome and support all people in the non-binary community, whether long-time residents or fresh arrivals in Canada. Come join us to get sustain , give support, question questions, or just listen.
