We have taken two wonderful trips with Out Adventures. Last year, my husband and I traveled to Morocco, and this year the Galapagos. Wow! what amazing trips. In addition to amazing scenery, both were educational, provided outstanding accommodations, and every detail of the trips were well-executed. We've already booked our next trip with Out Adventures!

Our gay travel guide to Malaysia has everything the LGBTQ traveler needs to know including where to stay, where to act, what to do, and important practical safety tips.

When an entire country’s branding relies on the richness of its culture, it better live up to all expectations…Malaysia calls itself “truly Asia”…it was not lying!

If it’s your desire to visit every territory in Asia, but you can only fit one stop into your budget, we guarantee that Malaysia will serve up every bit of Asian authenticity. Thanks to its thorough mix of Malay, Indian, Chinese, and European cultures, the country is a melting pot of all lifestyles.

The only downside? Queer visitors will be entering a place that doesn't have the finest LGBTQ rights – in fact, none at all! Simply put, being lgbtq+ in Malaysia is illegal! And while Malaysia does have an open door policy to tourists, it can still be incredibly terrifying to willingly stride into a location with such discriminatory laws. We sure thought so before touching down for our first time at Kuala Lumpur airport!

That being said, as a gay couple traveling in Malaysia, we always felt safe and res

Best Places for Gay Holidays

Sorry for the radio silence here, but after having returned home to the USA for the holidays, I’ve had a lot of time to reflect and to reflect — mostly about the past year and a bit about the future. And in making some of my plans for the next year, I’ve idea a lot about the past year.

Namely the evidence that it’s probably been my gayest year ever. Is that even a thing? Who knows. I don’t care. But I feel like this was an important year for gay rights, and also for my own interest in gay travel.

Gay travel?!

Yeah, that topic again. Commute is travel, yes. But this year I’ve also realized just how many of my own trips and experiences are almost certainly chosen because of my own sexual choice. Where I’ve traveled to isn’t necessarily anything to do with the fact that I’m gay, I guess, but these are the places that I’ve found that are actually great for other gay travelers enjoy myself—either solo or for gay couples.

I never reflection I’d be the guy who ended up going to (and actually enjoying!) stereotypically gay destinations, but hey, here I am. Over the past ye

In September 2024Instagram pushed me a post by Travel Gay, a website listing “the best gay bars, nightclubs, saunas, spas, beaches, shops and more, along with interesting travel ideas and fabulous offers”. There I saw the undated post (date your articles and posts, people) ‘LGBTQ+ Solo Travel: the Foremost Cities to Visit?‘ by Adam Reid. Being a solo gay traveller, it caught my attention.

Now, while I’m still very much a homosexual, it has been a while since I last travelled solo. My last solo trip was Tel Aviv in 2018. Since then, I’ve travelled with Danny, Oriol, Steve, Philippe, Nicolas, Thanh, my sister Florence. In 2021 I wrote ‘SINGLES DAY | Why everyone should travel alone sometimes‘ and reading it endorse I feel the cringe but I stand by its content.

It’s 2024. I should do a proper solo trip again soon(ish). I feel ready.

“LGBTQ+ Solo Travel: the Foremost Cities to Visit?”

“Solo explore is an intimidating prospect to many of us but it’s one of the most rewarding experiences you can have. Solo travel is on the rise and it’s manageable to understand why with the unmatched feel

How to Find the Best Gay Vacations for Singles

Travel is a transformational task that allows you to explore modern places, experience novel cultures, see astonishing architecture, natural wonders, and monuments, encounter new people, and sample delicious foods and cuisines. These experiences, of course, are almost always more pleasant and memorable when you can enjoy them with a ally, family member, or significant other.

But what do you act when you really want to obtain a trip or visit a modern place, but you don’t have a travel companion to join you? Male lover single travelers are more common than you might contemplate, and many people have learned to travel the earth alone while still enjoying a remembered, social experience in their destination of choice. In evidence, there are plenty of LGBTQ+ tour operators who propose gay group trips and cruises, which make the ideal vacation for same-sex attracted singles.

Do Gay Singles Vacations Really Exist?

Yes and no. We’re not currently conscious of any companies that offer vacations exclusively for homosexual single travelers, but there are quite a few options that are very single-friendly. These queer group trips and vacations hosted by LGBTQ+ tour operators are not advertise
