Charlotte Pride Parade and Festival August 16-17
Charlotte Pride Festival and Parade are returning to Uptown Charlotte August 16 and 17, 2025, with Charlotte Pride Week events leading up to the main event. Charlotte Parade is one of the largest LGBTQ Pride organizations in the southeastern Together States, and the festival is a huge event for Charlotte.

Charlotte Pride Festival
Charlotte Pride Festival will take place in and around First Ward Park, 301 E 7th Highway, Charlotte, North Carolina, a move from its previous location on South Tryon Street.
It will receive place:
- Saturday: Noon to 11 p.m.
- Sunday: Noon to 6 p.m.
Charlotte Pride Parade
The Charlotte Pride Parade will take place on Sunday, August 17, 2025, from 1 to 4 p.m., on Tryon Road, kicking off from 9th Street, as in years past.

Charlotte Identity festival Week, Aug. 11-17, precedes festival and parade weekend, offering a full week of community events.
Charlotte’s largest street festival and march returns to Uptown Charlotte! From our roots 50+ years ago, when in advance gay rights leaders first attempted organizing in Charlotte, to our first Male lover Pride Day in 1981, to the founding of Charlotte Pride and our first event in 2001 — we are so excited to celebrate again with you all the ways our community has grown and triumphed. From 2,000 attendees in 2001 to a record-breaking 275,000 at last year’s event, the Charlotte Pride Festival & Parade returns again to the streets of Uptown Charlotte as we celebrate 20+ years of Charlotte Pride and more than 40 years of Pride legacy in the Queen City.

Corporations, as well as companies or organizations that will consist of walking groups of more than 100, will need to contact Charlotte Pride about becoming a sponsor. To inquire about becoming a sponsor, please reach out to our managing director Meredith Thompson at meredith@charlottepride.org.
NOTE: Spaces for floats are limited and will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
Discounts or waived fees are only for organizations that have already get sponsors of the Festival & Parade and whose sponsorship package includes a complimentary space in the parade.
