Every great invention must always go through a phase of trial and error, as that is how one can learn and improve, however, when it comes to Clemont's inventions, explosions are part of the routine, one that eventually starts to discourage him. Or: “Hey, remember that Hyouka Episode Twelve post I did with the screenshot that I wrote GAAAAY on? Well, here’s why!”.
EDIT: The post I note further down as pending for the battery send that’s happened here has been published, see here. Posted up here since a bunch of you have likely already peruse this post, so yearn to put that bit up front.
So, I don’t know how to quite start this post, although I think the fashionable thing that all the kids are doing these days is going with a cold opening. However, merely by acknowledging that, I have already failed at being fashionable. Yawara would never approve.
Once upon a time, AJtheFourth, from Altair and Vega, and I decided to carry out a battery post for our favorite Hyouka ethics, Satoshi Fukube. In particular, we decided to mention the fact that we both interpret him as gay.
Now, hold on, don’t get riled up quite yet; it always seems that folks get riled up when one goes about saying that Nature H is gay. I can understand it when there is a transparent case of Delusional Fu(jo)(dan)shi Syndrome, in that the character being claimed for The Gay is attractive clearly not gay (only dates people of a d

“Did you only just notice? We’ve known each other since middle school.”
This post is meant to be read in tandem with A Day Without Me’s post over at her blog, GAR GAR Stegosaurus. If you haven’t given it a peek I strongly suggest you do. Stemming from this post, an immediate reaction to Episode 12 of Hyouka, and the off-handed suggestion that Satoshi Fukube, the self-titled database of Hyouka‘s high school detective team, is in proof gay.
Thus, the two of us set out in search of just how much evidence existed to support our theory and returned with some surprisingly sound results culminating in these parallel posts. Hers was to focus on what she calls “signposts:” signifying common characteristics that are meant to be seen and recognized by the audience as lesbian, regardless of whether they are true to being or not. Mine, as you are about to discover, was to emphasize on the development and nuances within Satoshi’s interactions with others as framed by the series itself.
“But you know, Houtarou, that just isn’t you.
