AND the two princes lived happily ever after ... in the world's first gay fairytale book for children.

The Princes and the Treasure, a fairytale children's manual featuring two gay princes, has just been released around the world after its initial release in the United States earlier this year.

Although the story begins with the standard plot of the prince on a quest to save the princess and find a treasure, it blossoms into a treasure story when the two princes Earnest and Gallant meet during their mission, do some self-discovery, and realize that the actual treasure they have set up is the love they have for each other.

They even get married!

This groundbreaking children's book was written by openly gay college professor Jeffrey A. Miles (who teaches business administration at the University of the Pacific). Miles told the Advocate:

"I really wanted a story like this when I was a brief boy. I knew that stories about princes falling in love with princesses didn’t apply to me and my life. I knew from a very early age that I was never going to marry a princess.

"So I wrote this story for children, but I also wrote it for anyone who

LGBTQ-inclusive children’s stories are behind coming out.

From a Black/Gay Santa, to a lgbtq+ schoolboy crush video, and gay fairytale animations, children’s stories with LGBTQ heroes and protagonists are leisurely rolling out. Now, we’re happy to share with you the latest one to grace our attention.

Prince & Knight turns classic fantasy stories on their heads with two male leads. The picture guide by Daniel Haack and illustrated by Stevie Lewis is about a prince who’s looking to wed . Unable to find a fitting princess who also moves his heart, the prince eventually meets a knight whom he falls for.

Haack spoke with Liberty for All Americans to discuss the book and why he created it.

"I work in children’s media, and I really saw that there was such a dearth of any LGBTQ representation anywhere in the space,” he said.

He also added:

“There are so many kids today that aren’t seeing their hold families or friends’ families represented in any of the books they scan or shows they observe and I wanted to tell a story that showed LGBTQ people as heroes and love interests and do it in a way that was really both kid-fri

This Awesome New Children's Book Features a Gay Love Story

It's a familiar story: a handsome prince falls in like with someone from a humble background. Except in this case, that someone just happens to also be a boy.

The Promised Land, an LGBT illustrated children's book aimed at readers aged 5 to 10, features a prince named Leo who falls in love with a farm lad named Jack after a chance interaction in the forest. It was penned by New Zealand authors Adam Reynolds and Chaz Harris, who have turned to Kickstarter in the hopes of getting their story published.

"We wrote Promised Land because when we were growing up, there were no stories or role models to show us that 'happily ever after' could even exist if you're gay," Harris said in the video on the Kickstarter page.

If the campaign succeeds, the authors hope to hold the book out on October 11, which is nationally known as Coming Out Day. They needed about $17,000 USD by April 14; as of now, they include over $21,000, so it's looking adorable good!
